About Us
Native Land Solutions is owned and operated by Brian Wille out of San Antonio, TX. Brian received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Texas A&M University in 2003. Since then he has worked over ten years in the grassland restoration profession with a variety of positions that make his skill set unique. It’s these skills that allow Native Land Solutions to offer valuable guidance to those tasked with restoring and managing our natural resources.
Starting with the USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in 2003 Brian worked as a Rangeland Management Specialist in numerous counties throughout East, Central and South Texas. He primarily assisted private landowners looking to improve their farm and ranch land using best management practices that matched their resources and goals. He was responsible for planning and certifying conservation practices including brush management, range and pasture planting, wildlife habitat management, nutrient management, pest management, critical area plantings, riparian buffers, water pipelines, water storage facilities, fences, cropland irrigation systems, and prescribed burning. He also worked with local government entities to implement and maintain their own specific natural resource objectives.
In 2010 Brian took a position working with Douglass King Seed in San Antonio, TX. There he managed the native seed farms, supervising production activities including planting, pest management, and harvest of South Texas Natives plant varieties. He then moved to the office as General Manager and Native Seed Specialist where he worked daily assisting customers with site specific guidance regarding planting and restoration projects. While there Brian coordinated and oversaw every project where Douglass King Seed was hired as the restoration contractor, primarily for oil and gas pipeline ROW's and frac ponds in South Texas. He also built relationships with other seed suppliers and restoration professionals including architects, engineers, contractors, and local government officials. Brian can help develop plans and also recommend reputable contractors to get the job done right.
